MIELKE OIL COMPANY
Mielke Oil Company was founded November 11th 1969 by Alvin and Lois Mielke as a local home heating fuels distributor serving the small town of Swanville, MN and the surrounding communities. Over the years, Mielke Oil provided the surrounding communities with the products needed to keep warm in the Winters and get the crops in the ground and harvested during the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Seeing an opportunity to expand, Mielke Oil began offering wholesale branded fuels to the regional gasoline retailers. With many of the businesses’ customers also offering automotive repair services, Mielke Oil also began offering automotive tires and lubricants to customers. In 1980, Mielke Oil started offering Conoco and Phillips 66 branded lubricants (expanding to more than 10 major brands by 2011) along with the fuel services to Mielke Oil already provided.
In 1990 Doug and Mary Mielke became the second-generation owners of the business and began the push to become one of the largest lubricants and fuels distributors in the Midwest. Mielke Oil Company was incorporated in 1992, giving the business the ability to grow faster and service customers even better. Over the next few years, Mielke Oil Company continued to grow and add additional products and services, including automotive filters, chemicals, wiper blades, light bulbs, gas cans, racing fuel, and other products. In 1999, Mielke Oil Company expanded and moved into its current facilities in Little Falls, MN with over 55,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space and more than 400,000 gallons of bulk lubricant storage. In 2025 Justin and Amber Mielke became the third-generation owners of the business and continue to push to be one of the largest privately owned distributors in the Midwest. Today, Mielke Oil Company services more than 2,800 customers throughout the United States and Canada with quality products and best in class service.

Mielke Oil Company covers a large area from a single location in Little Falls, MN. Our distribution region covers Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin and many other locations throughout the United States.
We utilize a unique distribution method that incorporates all of your product needs onto one truck, maximizing efficiency for us and for you by eliminating multiple deliveries to your location. We are one of the largest distributors in the Midwest and one of the few that can do it from one location.
